ANNUAL WRITERS' v BROADCASTERS' CHALLENGE

What began as an informal golf match between members of the Association of Golf Writers and BBC broadcasters is now in its sixth year and is a highlight of both media outlets' calendars.

For 2006 the event saw a move from Stoke Park Club, which has generously hosted the match since its inauguration, to the London Golf Club and the venue and course has proved a great hit.

Over the years the event has attracted some well known names in the world of golf and broadcasting, including Radio Five Live's Tony Adamson, Sir Terry Wogan and the late Paul Walters, Dj Spoony and TV presenter Vernon Kaye.
