THE SPOONY CLASSIC

Radio 1 Dj Spoony, also known as Jonathan Joseph, is a golf 'nut' and also a tireless ambassador for the Golf Foundation and its project to bring golf to inner city youngsters.

As part of his fundraising work he hosts the annual Spoony Classic at the stunning Stoke Park Club, Stoke Poges each July.

The 2006 event was an amazing success with an extremely full golf course and a celebrity studded after golf dinner where r&b star Craig David entertained guests and snooker champion Willie Thorne raised £75,000 as a special, and highly effective, auctioneer. www.stokeparkclub.com
