GOLF INDUSTRY NEWS AWARDS

These were the predecessor of the Today's Golfer Awards and hold a special place in TTP's Anne Harper's memory who, as editor of the magazine, inaugurated them with a little help from the then Prime Minister Sir John Major, 'Father of the European Tour's John Jacobs, Sandy Jones Executive Director of the Professional Golfers' Association and an exclusive number of lunch guests who packed the Conservatory Restaurant at Huntingdon's Old Bridge Hotel.
